Apple Inc. (AAPL) - Volatile Session

Apple Inc. (AAPL) had a volatile session right from the opening bell. At 9:30 this morning there were rumors circulating that AAPL COO  Tim Cook might be leaving to become the CEO of Hewlett-Packard. The rumor caused AAPL shares to trade down as low as 275 before rebounding to close at 286.85 which was down 4.30 from yesterday's close. The above 10 min chart kind of reminds me of  the "flash crash" we had last May.

most of the big stops where at 282 and 275. the "rumor" was created to take those out. sad, but it is really that simple. the fact that it resembles the flash crash from may is not coincidence... same concept just a bigger sample size.
