Well, gold has finally broken out of its triangle to the upside. As you know I've been long gold for about 2 weeks and now the trade is beginning to work. We'll see what happens.

Happy holidays. Do you think there is any significance to the low volume breakout on GLD due to the inactive holiday trading period? Specifically, do you consider the breakout valid or do you believe that a surge in volume is required? TIA

It would be nice to see volume confirm the move up, but as long as gold is moving higher, I will remain bullish.
