Semiconductors Make A New Year High



Today the SOX (semiconductors) were one of the strongest groups as they broke out to a new year high. The index was up almost 3% today on an increase in volume for the SMH.

I haven't really traded this group lately because they have been so out of play, but now it seems like something might be going on with them. I think we should keep an eye on the semis and see how they hold up on the next dip in the market.
