Stocks Are Still Following The Yen

I don't have too much to say about the indices today, although at one point it looked like we were in for an ugly day but stocks bounced back nicely.

I think we should still keep an eye on the Japanese Yen because the low today in the stock market coincided with the high in the Yen as you can see in the above chart.

Merciful heaven!

Our whole stock market is just a toy of few hedge fund geeks playing with carry trades? I mean, if they decide to close the shop we all can go home, too?

Kevin, do you also have a chart of Gold prices vs. Yen so we can see if the Yen Carry Trade is being used to buy precious metals?

Amazing chart!
