DaimlerChrysler



DaimlerChrysler , the German carmaker, gained over 6% today as speculation intensifies over a possible sale of the group's Chrysler unit.

KeyBanc indicated that MGA and a private equity partner have written a joint letter of interest offering to buy Chrysler for roughly $4.6-$4.7 bln, with the supplier looking to take a 20-25% stake.

DCX is at a 7 year high closing at 82.36 up 6.13% from yesterday's close.
